If you want LinkedIn ghostwriting and lead generation from one team, Jennavi is first on this list. It is the one option here that combines profile positioning, ghostwritten posts, hand-built prospecting, personalized outreach, CRM tracking and a monthly report, at published prices: a $500 Founder pilot, then $1,000 a month, or a $1,000 Executive pilot, then $1,500 a month.
If you only need one half, Cleverly sells managed LinkedIn outreach at published plan prices, YellowInk is a boutique ghostwriting agency that also lists lead generation, SalesBread offers boutique personalized outreach, and Understory Agency runs ghostwriting inside a wider paid media and revenue team.
Jennavi publishes this guide and is one of the agencies listed, so we show our criteria and sources and say where a competitor may suit you better. Prices change, so confirm current rates directly.
- Most agencies sell either the writing or the outreach. Jennavi runs profile positioning, ghostwritten content, hand-built outreach, CRM tracking and reporting as one service.
- Jennavi publishes its prices: a $500 Founder pilot then $1,000 a month, or a $1,000 Executive pilot then $1,500 a month.
- Compare any agency on its voice process, who builds the prospect list, how messages are personalized, how it reports and its contract terms, not on follower counts.
- No agency can honestly guarantee revenue. Ask how a lead or a meeting is defined before you pay.
Searching for a LinkedIn agency in 2026 gets you a confusing mix. Some providers are ghostwriters. Some are outreach shops that send connection requests for you. Some run paid ads. Some call all three "LinkedIn services." One independent review of the market makes the same point: the phrase "LinkedIn agency" can describe three completely different businesses, so the first job is working out which one you are actually buying.
For a founder, executive or consultant, the answer is usually both halves. Posts without outreach build awareness that never turns into conversations. Outreach without a credible profile and posts lands in the inbox of someone who has never heard of you. If you want to see where your own profile stands before comparing anyone, the free LinkedIn Health Check takes about four minutes.
How we chose and compared these agencies
"Best" means nothing without criteria. These are the six we used, and you can apply them to any agency, including ours.
Does one team cover profile, content, prospecting, outreach, replies and reporting, or only one slice of that chain?
Ask: what is not included? Many agencies only quote after a sales call. Published prices let you compare before you commit your time.
Ask: what is the total monthly cost?A real voice-capture process produces posts that sound like you. A generic intake form produces posts that sound like everyone.
Ask: how is my voice captured and approved?Hand-built lists and personalized requests protect your reputation. Mass automation can damage it.
Ask: who builds the list, and how is the pace set?Evidence you can verify outside the agency's own pages carries more weight than a testimonial section.
Ask: where can I verify this?Clear commitment terms, a written agreement and reporting tied to conversations, not just impressions.
Ask: what happens after month one?Why these five, and how they differ
These agencies do not all do the same job, so they are not ranked on one scale. We included each because it is a visible option for a distinct need, and we describe it by what it specializes in:
- Jennavi is a combined service: ghostwriting and lead generation from one team. It is first because it is the only one of the five we found that packages profile positioning, ghostwritten posts, hand-built prospecting, personalized outreach, tracking and reporting at published prices, with a 30-day pilot.
- Cleverly is a managed-outreach specialist with published plans, included for buyers whose main need is outbound volume.
- YellowInk is a boutique ghostwriting agency that also lists lead generation and paid campaigns, included for executives who want a voice-led writing partner and are comfortable requesting a quote.
- SalesBread is a boutique outreach specialist that publishes a price and a lead guarantee, included for teams with a larger budget who want a contractual commitment.
- Understory Agency is an integrated growth agency where ghostwriting sits beside paid media and revenue operations, included for B2B companies that want LinkedIn inside a wider program.
Choosing the right one is mostly a question of which job you need done, which is why the table below shows each agency's specialty next to its price.

Why We Stopped Treating LinkedIn Content and Lead Generation as Separate Jobs
A pattern we see again and again: a founder posts consistently for months, impressions climb, and the inbox stays quiet, or fills with people who can never buy. The writing is rarely the problem. Impressions tell you how many people saw a post. They do not tell you who those people were, or whether any of them had a reason to talk to you.
Where the gap opens
Visibility is not a conversation. Posts tend to reach peers, other founders and friendly contacts first. Without a clear picture of the buyer you want, the readers you attract are not necessarily the readers you need.
The profile decides what a visit is worth. Someone reads a post, clicks your name and makes a quick judgment. If your headline and About section do not say who you help and why you are credible, the visit ends there, however good the post was.
Nobody starts the conversation. Most buyers read quietly and never message. Thoughtful comments on their own posts and a personal, relevant connection request give them a reason to start.
How the four parts work together
| Part | On its own | With the other three in place |
|---|---|---|
| Profile positioning | A clear profile that few people see | The place every post and message sends people to, and it converts the visit |
| Content in your voice | Reach among whoever happens to read | Written for the buyers you are also approaching, so a message has something real to point to |
| Targeted engagement | Friendly comments with no follow-through | Puts you in front of the right people before any request arrives |
| Personalized outreach | A cold message to a stranger with a thin profile | Lands on someone who has seen you, with a profile that backs up the message |

What changed in how we work
Jennifer built her own LinkedIn presence this way before offering it to anyone, and it is the reason Jennavi runs the whole sequence as one job. The audience and voice guide that shapes your posts is the same thinking that shapes your prospect list, so the people you write for and the people you approach are the same people. The profile is rebuilt first, so every visit has somewhere strong to land. Engagement and outreach then come from the same team, and the monthly report counts replies and booked calls against your day-one numbers, not just impressions, so you can see what is working and what to adjust.
We still cannot promise a result, because LinkedIn and your market are outside anyone's control. What we can do is make sure the pieces point at the same buyers instead of leaving you to coordinate them.
Honest profiles of the alternatives.
Each profile uses only what the provider publishes on its own pages, checked in October 2026. Where something is not published, we say so.
Cleverly
Cleverly sells done-for-you LinkedIn outreach. Its pricing page lists three plans: Gold at $397 a month (outreach to 500 prospects a month on one profile, with an account manager and a built prospect list), Platinum at $697 a month (adds a dedicated appointment setter, meetings booked for you and written nurture sequences), and Teams at $891 a month (1,500 or more prospects across three profiles). The page mentions discounts for upfront payment and does not state a guarantee. When we checked, the page also showed a notice that the account was temporarily paused by its owner, so confirm current availability and prices with Cleverly directly.
YellowInk
YellowInk is a boutique LinkedIn ghostwriting agency built around voice and story discovery. Its own site describes LinkedIn marketing for B2B decision-makers and lists ghostwriting alongside lead generation and paid campaigns, and it shows a financial advisory case study reporting a 46% connection acceptance rate and 25+ qualified meetings per quarter from its LinkedIn marketing. We did not find prices on its site, so you would need to request a quote.
SalesBread
SalesBread is a boutique agency focused on personalized LinkedIn outreach. In its own article on agency costs, it lists its done-for-you service at $3k a month plus a one-time setup fee (the amount is not stated) and says there are no locked-in contracts. It also states: "We guarantee that we will bring you 20+ qualified leads per month or your money back." The page does not define what counts as a qualified lead, so if a contractual commitment matters to you, ask for that definition and the refund terms in writing.
Understory Agency
Understory describes itself as an allbound go-to-market agency for B2B companies past product-market fit. Its LinkedIn ghostwriting runs inside the same team as paid media, GTM engineering, creative and revenue operations, and it lists 16 to 30 posts a month, written, designed, scheduled and posted, starting from a voice interview. It does not publish prices: it says it uses custom flat retainers for each service, and that engagements are typically six months so organic content has time to compound.
What about freelancers, large agencies and doing it yourself?
These are real options, and they suit different situations. A freelance ghostwriter can be an excellent fit if you only need posts and are willing to manage the rest. A large content marketing agency suits a company that needs LinkedIn as one part of a broad program and wants account management. Doing it yourself works if you can rebuild your profile, write consistently, research prospects, engage daily and track results, and most leaders find those tasks compete with running the business. To judge any agency, use our checklist for what to look for in an agency.
Ghostwriting, outreach or both? A simple way to decide
If a stranger opening your profile cannot tell who you help and why you are credible, outreach will underperform. Fix the foundation and start conversations together. This is where a combined service earns its price. See how Jennavi's LinkedIn lead generation works.
If you already get warm inbound and have a sales process, a voice-led ghostwriting agency may be all you need. If you are a founder, see how Jennavi works with founders.
If your profile converts and you have the capacity to handle many conversations, a managed outbound provider can add volume. Check how personalization works so it does not damage your reputation.
Seven questions to ask any agency before you pay
- "What exactly is included each month?" Ask for posts, outreach volume, reporting and revisions in writing.
- "What is the full monthly price, and is there a pilot or minimum term?" A clear answer is a good sign. A vague one means more questions.
- "Who writes my posts, and how is my voice captured and approved?" Look for a real process, not a form.
- "Who builds the prospect list, and how is the sending pace set?" Hand-built lists and measured pacing protect your account.
- "Where can I verify your results outside your own website?" Public profiles, independent reviews and reviews on platforms the agency does not control.
- "What do you guarantee and what do you not?" Be cautious of promises about revenue that no agency can control.
- "What will the first report show?" Look for connections, replies and booked calls measured against a day-one baseline.
Mistakes buyers make when comparing LinkedIn agencies
| The mistake | Why it backfires | The fix |
|---|---|---|
| Buying on follower or impression numbers | Reach does not equal conversations with buyers | Ask for reporting on replies and booked calls |
| Choosing outreach before positioning | Prospects visit an unclear profile and leave | Fix the profile and content first, or buy both together |
| Comparing headline prices only | Scope, volume caps and extras differ widely | Compare line by line, including what is not included |
| Accepting revenue promises | No agency controls LinkedIn or your market | Prefer honest reporting and a short pilot |
| Skipping the written agreement | Scope and confidentiality stay vague | Require a service agreement before work starts |

The CRICKETS Toolkit is four free tools we built for LinkedIn. Use them to see where your profile and posts stand, whoever you hire.
From visibility to conversation.
You should not need five different providers to build your presence, publish useful content and start conversations with potential clients. Jennavi brings LinkedIn positioning, founder-led content, targeted outreach and reporting into one connected service, with additional long-form content support available through the Executive offering.
- A ghostwriter to create the posts, who may never see what your outreach says.
- A positioning specialist to fix a profile that does not convert.
- Someone to research prospects and manage outreach.
- An engagement solution for comments and follow-up.
- A newsletter writer and an SEO writer for your website.
- Someone to track conversations, leads and results.
Each can be good on its own. Coordinating them takes time, the work drifts apart, and a warm reply can sit unanswered. Jennavi tracks every reply in a CRM and hands you interested prospects with a suggested reply, so no conversation is lost. With Jennavi these jobs inform one another: one strategy, one consistent voice, one team that understands what you are building. See how Jennavi works and compare the packages on the pricing page.
